Anti-Spam Policy
Last Updated: April 18, 2026
NeuroMail is a permission-based email marketing platform. We take spam seriously — violations result in immediate account suspension.
AWS SES Infrastructure
All email delivery runs through Amazon SES, which enforces strict sending policies and compliance standards.
Permission-Based Only
Users may only send to contacts who have explicitly opted in. Purchased or scraped lists are prohibited.
Real-Time Spam Filtering
Every campaign is scanned before delivery. High-risk content is automatically blocked before it can be sent.
Legally Compliant
NeuroMail enforces CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR compliance requirements for all campaigns sent through the platform.
1. Our Commitment Against Spam
NeuroMail is built exclusively for permission-based email marketing. This means every email sent through our platform must go to people who have voluntarily agreed to receive communications from the sender.
We maintain this standard not just because the law requires it, but because it's the right way to do email marketing. Spam harms recipients, damages sender reputations, and degrades the entire email ecosystem.
Core Principle: If a recipient did not explicitly ask to receive your emails, you cannot use NeuroMail to send to them. This is non-negotiable.
2. What Counts as Spam
On NeuroMail, the following are considered spam and are strictly prohibited:
- Sending emails to people who did not explicitly opt in to receive your communications
- Importing or using purchased, rented, harvested, or scraped email lists
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (UBE) to any number of recipients
- Disguising the origin, sender identity, or subject of an email
- Sending emails with misleading subject lines unrelated to the content
- Re-subscribing contacts who have previously unsubscribed
- Sending to role-based addresses (e.g., info@, admin@, noreply@) without direct consent
- Using co-registration lists or third-party list sharing without verified consent from each recipient
3. How We Enforce This
NeuroMail uses multiple layers of technical enforcement to prevent spam from being sent through our platform:
AWS SES Delivery Infrastructure
All emails are sent via Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES). AWS independently monitors sending behavior and enforces its own anti-spam policies. Accounts that generate high bounce rates, spam complaints, or other abuse signals are automatically flagged.
Pre-Send Spam Analysis
Every campaign is analyzed before delivery using our built-in spam detection engine. Campaigns are scored 0–100 and blocked automatically if the score reaches 80 or above. This catches:
- Spam trigger words and deceptive phrases
- Excessive capitalization or punctuation patterns
- Missing or broken unsubscribe links
- Suspicious or known-malicious URLs
- Content patterns associated with phishing or fraud
Engagement Monitoring
Our AI continuously monitors engagement metrics across all accounts. Accounts with abnormally low open rates, high bounce rates, or elevated spam complaint rates trigger automated review. Accounts showing patterns consistent with spam campaigns are suspended pending investigation.
Automatic Unsubscribe Enforcement
Every email sent through NeuroMail automatically includes a functional unsubscribe link. When a recipient unsubscribes, they are immediately and permanently removed from future campaigns — this cannot be overridden by the sender.
4. Your Obligations as a Sender
By using NeuroMail, you agree to the following requirements for every campaign you send:
Consent Requirements
- You must have explicit, verifiable consent from every contact before emailing them
- Consent must have been given specifically to receive communications from you (not generic third-party consent)
- You should be able to identify when and how each contact opted in if asked
- Consent obtained through deceptive means does not count
List Hygiene Requirements
- Remove bounced email addresses promptly after they bounce
- Honor all unsubscribe requests immediately and permanently
- Never re-add a contact who has unsubscribed
- Remove contacts who show no engagement over extended periods
- Keep your bounce rate below 5% and complaint rate below 0.1%
Content Requirements
- Subject lines must accurately reflect the email content
- Your sender name must be recognizable to the recipient
- Every email must identify who is sending it
- Commercial emails must include your physical mailing address (CAN-SPAM)
- Do not use deceptive or misleading content of any kind
Strictly Forbidden: Importing purchased lists, scraped lists, harvested addresses, or any contacts who did not directly opt in to receive your emails will result in immediate account termination with no refund.
5. Violations and Consequences
The severity of enforcement depends on the nature of the violation:
| Violation | Action |
|---|---|
| Sending to purchased or scraped lists | IMMEDIATE TERMINATION |
| Bounce rate exceeding 10% | ACCOUNT SUSPENDED |
| Spam complaint rate exceeding 0.3% | ACCOUNT SUSPENDED |
| Sending phishing, malware, or fraudulent content | IMMEDIATE TERMINATION |
| Re-subscribing opted-out contacts | ACCOUNT SUSPENDED |
| Misleading subject lines or sender identity | WARNING → SUSPENSION |
| Bounce rate between 5–10% | WARNING ISSUED |
| Spam score 80+ on submitted campaign | CAMPAIGN BLOCKED |
Accounts terminated for spam violations are not eligible for refunds. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned from the platform.
6. Legal Compliance
NeuroMail enforces compliance with major international email laws. As a sender, you are also legally responsible for compliance in your jurisdiction.

- Honest, non-deceptive subject lines
